CM Shri Vishnu Deo Sai Announces Key Initiatives for Road Connectivity, Tourism, Social Infrastructure and Religious Heritage Development
Raipur,During the Sushasan Tihar Samadhan Camp held in Bade Kanera village of Kondagaon district on June 1, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai announced several important development projects aimed at the comprehensive growth of the region. The initiatives are expected to accelerate infrastructure development, tourism promotion, social welfare activities and the preservation of religious heritage.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai stated that the government is committed to ensuring that the benefits of development reach even the remotest villages. Guided by this vision, several major construction and development works have been approved for Bade Kanera and the surrounding areas.
Road and Bridge Projects to Improve Connectivity
The Chief Minister announced an approval of Rs. 2 crore for the renovation of the stop dam-cum-culvert on the Narangi River. To strengthen transportation facilities in the region, he also announced the upgradation and strengthening of the 53-kilometre Keshkal–Banskot–Makdi–Erla road.
Chief Minister Shri Sai further announced the construction of a 12-kilometre road, including bridges and culverts, connecting Bade Kanera with Badebendri, Baikapadar and Chipawand. Additionally, a 5-kilometre road with bridges and culverts will be constructed between Bade Kanera and Navaguda.
Shopping Complex to Boost Trade and Employment
To promote local economic activity, the Chief Minister announced plans to build a shopping complex in Bade Kanera. He said the project would encourage commercial activities in the area and create new employment opportunities for local youth.
Special Focus on Tourism and Cultural Heritage
To strengthen the region’s tourism potential, Chief Minister Shri Sai announced tourism development projects in Kosarteda. He said the initiative would give local tourism a new identity and help strengthen the rural economy.
Approval for Community Infrastructure
The Chief Minister announced the construction of a Gondwana Bhawan in Vishrampuri and a Sarv Adivasi Samaj Bhavan in Keshkal. These facilities will provide improved infrastructure for social, cultural and community activities.
Renovation of the Ancient Shiva Temple
Announcing the renovation of the ancient Shiva Temple located in Bade Kanera, the Chief Minister stated that preserving religious and cultural heritage remains one of the government’s priorities. He noted that the restoration work would improve facilities for devotees and further strengthen the region’s cultural identity.
The announcements were welcomed with enthusiastic applause by the villagers present at the event. Residents expressed confidence that completing these projects would bring new momentum to the development of Bade Kanera and the surrounding region.
