Performs Shramdaan Under ‘Mor Gaon Mor Pani Abhiyan 2.0’

Raipu: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday attended the Samadhan Camp organised under Sushasan Tihar-2026 at Gram Karhibazar in Bhatapara development block of Balodabazar-Bhatapara district and announced several development works for the region.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai announced construction of a cultural building for all communities in Gram Karhibazar at a cost of Rs 25 lakh and a CC road from (Sukalu’s house) to Siddh Baba Marg at a cost of Rs 25 lakh. He also announced construction of buildings for higher secondary schools in Karhibazar and Kodwa.

Chief Minister announced construction of a building of Community Hall in Gram Bitkuli at a cost of Rs 20 lakh and CC roads worth Rs 10 lakh each in Gram Panchayats Kothmi, Mopka, Koni, Borsi, Kodwa, Patan and Rampur.

During the visit, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai offered prayers at Maa Mahamaya Temple and interacted with women of local self-help groups, appreciating their work. He visited the Ayushman Arogya Mandir and distributed kits to lactating mothers. The Chief Minister also visited beneficiary-oriented stalls set up by various departments and interacted with scheme beneficiaries.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai met football players and encouraged them by kicking a football on their request. He also launched the “Hum Honge Kamyab 2.0” portal. Villagers welcomed the Chief Minister warmly by presenting him with the traditional Khumri headgear.

During the programme, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai performed Annaprashan rituals for newborn children and distributed helmets to promote road safety awareness. He also attended the housewarming ceremony of Smt. Rajkumari, a beneficiary of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and gifted an idol of Lord Shri Ganesh while wishing prosperity for the family.

Under the “Mor Gaon Mor Pani Abhiyan 2.0,” Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai participated in Shramdaan for construction of a soak pit and conveyed the message of water conservation. He also interacted with Jal Sanchayan Didis Smt. Baby Sen and Smt. Ambe Manikpuri and appreciated their contribution towards water conservation.

At the Samadhan Camp, beneficiaries shared their experiences regarding benefits received through government schemes. Shri Nand Kumar Dhruv said his application related to a motorised vehicle issue submitted during Sushasan Tihar was resolved promptly, for which he thanked the government and administration.

Shri Dilip Kumar Verma said receiving land patta under the Swamitva Yojana helped him in constructing a house. Smt. Anita Nishad expressed happiness over receiving a permanent house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and said she no longer faces hardships caused by living in a kutcha house.

Similarly, Smt. Pinky Banjare expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai for the financial assistance received under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana and said the scheme is helping women become economically empowered.
