During the same period, the number of property registration documents in women&#8217;s names rose from 14,668 to 21,292, marking a 45% increase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nearly 75% of districts recorded annual growth of more than 20% in property registrations by women, with Janjgir-Champa, Balod, Korea, Raipur and Kanker among the districts reporting notable gains. The registration fee rebate also provided citizens with a direct financial benefit of approximately Rs 50.14 crore, while encouraging greater property ownership among women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that increasing women&#8217;s property ownership is a key step towards social justice and inclusive development, as it enhances their economic security while strengthening their status and decision-making role within families and society. He said the initiative has benefited a large number of families and reflects the government&#8217;s commitment to making women self-reliant, empowered and equal partners in the state&#8217;s development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finance and Commercial Tax (Registration) Minister Shri OP Choudhary said that the significant rise in property registrations in women&#8217;s names reflects a broader social and economic transformation.
