Today, the family is living in a permanent house built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G), marking a significant improvement in its quality of life.Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the state government is working to ensure that basic amenities reach economically weaker families. In line with the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, PMAY-G is helping thousands of eligible families across Chhattisgarh realise their dream of owning a permanent home.During a special Gram Sabha held at Pandripani on June 24, GPM District Collector Dr Santosh Kumar Dewangan and Zila Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Shri Mukesh Rawte visited Shri Amritlal’s newly constructed house. They congratulated the family and said ensuring that the benefits of welfare schemes reach the last person remains the administration’s highest priority.Shri Amritlal said the family earlier lived in a kutcha mud house where the roof leaked during the rainy season and damp walls made everyday life difficult. The poor living conditions affected the children’s studies, while financial constraints made it impossible for the family to build a permanent house on its own.He said assistance under PMAY-G fulfilled a long-cherished dream by providing the family with a strong, safe and permanent house.
