Tribal artists from five states to participate; tribal attire show, art festival and craft \u2018haat\u2019 to be major attractions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A two-day cultural festival \u2018Adi Parab 2026 \u2013 From Tradition to Identity\u2019 will be held on March 13 and 14 at the campus of the Tribal Research and Training Institute in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar. The event is being organised on the vision and directions of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai to provide a national platform for the rich tribal culture, art and traditions of Chhattisgarh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The programme is being organised by the Tribal Research and Training Institute under the state\u2019s Tribal Development Department with support from the Ministry of Tribal Affairs. Along with 43 tribal communities of Chhattisgarh, tribal groups from Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, Maharashtra and Jharkhand will participate in the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The objective of the festival is to promote tribal identity, preservation of cultural heritage and traditional knowledge. Tribal artists, artisans and community representatives from across the state and other parts of the country will take part. The event will present tribal art, traditions, handicrafts, folk life and cultural diversity on a common platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of the festival, \u201cAdi-Paridhan Tribal Attire Show\u201d will be organised on March 13 from 10:30 am to 8 pm and on March 14 from 4 pm to 8 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the first time, the traditional attire and cultural features of 43 tribal communities of the state will be showcased on a single platform. The festival will also host \u201cAdi Rang \u2013 Tribal Painting Festival\u201d and \u201cAdi Haat \u2013 Tribal Craft Fair,\u201d where tribal handicrafts, forest produce and traditional products of Chhattisgarh will be displayed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
